Fighting the Effects of Gravity: A Bittersweet Journey Into Middle Life by James Robinson, Jr.
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Do any characters grow or change during the course of the novel? The author shows how he has matured through the years. As we all grow older we mature. This is shown in the story.
Which characters do you particularly admire or dislike? Robinson does not speak a lot about his wife, but I admire any female that puts up with a man.
Do you find the characters convincing? Everything Robinson spoke about felt believable.
How would the book have been different if it had taken place in a different time or place? Take out the electronics and modern day problems and this book could happen at any time. Growing older is nothing new, everyone will face it at some point.
Disclosure: I received a review copy of this book from the author.
