Find one word that describes a character in your book very well. Krystal - Naive. She just let everyone run over her. She booked wedding things with her own money. Hudson was flighty at best.
His mom just kept pushing the guest list higher and higher. His family was loaded, but she got stuck with everything. Hudson never bought her anything nice, including an engagement ring.
Consider the main character: what does he or she believe in? They each believed they would find success outside Texas, hence the title of the book.
Tell five ways the main character is like you. Their tolerance levels are a little fictional. I think very few women would put up with things as much as these women did.
