Are you a city slicker or a country lover?
I am a city girl.  I live in the suburbs now, but as soon as the kids go off to college, I’m moving back. The city is where I belong.

What’s your next project?
In addition to completing the 3rd book in the Order of the Seers trilogy, I have already started on a children’s book series called Enchanted: 5 Tales of Magic in the Everyday.  After that, I hope to co-write a historical adventure novel, then start work on a two-part space opera that came to me this summer.  I’m really excited!

What would you love to produce in your life?
Emotionally healthy and intellectually astute children who know who they are and whose they are.  That is my biggest job and would be my greatest achievement if I can make that happen.

What’s the reason for your life? Have you figured out your reason for being here yet?
Hhhmm.  That is THE great question, isn’t it?  I think I am here to realize my fullest potential and help others do the same.  Whether it is in community or international development, as an author or a parent, I think I am here to do my best with the opportunities that are given to me.  I think if I do my best, I will help people and hopefully make the world a better place through my contributions and my example.

How do you feel about self-publishing?
I feel pretty good about it since I did it. J Other writers ask me, “Should I self-pubish?” and I always tell them, it depends.  Self-publishing is not for everyone.  It’s a lot of work.  I think you have to like being your own boss.  I think having all the weight on your shoulders has to suit you or you won’t enjoy the aspects of it that can be enjoyed.  If your dream is to be traditionally published, then I say, go for it.  There are a lot of benefits to going that route, but self-publishing suits my personality very well.
