The Photo Traveler by Arthur J. Gonzalez
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
It's easy to dislike time travel books with complicated plots and I've had my share of those where the author insists on creating a multi-layered plot but then falls short of pulling the reader in. The Photo Traveler does not fall into this category and I think the writing was simply excellent.
All I can say is - "Where's the sequel?" I thought the ideas was fantastic and every scene in the book will keep you on the edge of your seat. You will be given some clues to the ending along th way, a puzzle to piece together but rest assured you will have to be patient for Gonzalez to give you the answer.
If you love young adult science fiction with lots of excitement, a historical setting, and a dash of a love-triangle, this is your read. It's like junk food for your brain without all the abusive relationships of other young adult fiction. I definitely recommend giving this book a shot.
