Author Interview – K. R. Raye @KRRaye

How important do you think villains are in a story?  I love bad guys!  Villains are essential in most stories. Your hero needs a worthy opponent to wrestle.  It helps their development arc as they hopefully grow and learn through the course of the story.  Villains can range from being another person, to a force of nature, to a character flaw of the protagonist.
Do you have to travel much concerning your book(s)?  Not currently, as I’m writing about places I’ve lived or places I created.
Can we expect any more books from you in the future?  Yes, of course!  The next two books in The Colors Trilogy, The Colors of Love and True Colors, publish November 19, 2013 and March 25, 2014 respectively.  Plus, my boys are making me write a trilogy now, just for them (YA SciFi).
Have you started another book yet?  Yes, the next two books in The Colors Trilogy, The Colors of Love and True Colors, are finished and publish November 19, 2013 and March 25, 2014 respectively.  Currently, my boys are making me write a trilogy just for them (YA SciFi).
What are your current writing projects now?  My boys are making me write a trilogy just for them (YA SciFi).
