What have you read that is similar to this book? Shutter Island

What are the most important relationships in the book? BJ and Dabbie will be my first choice. My second choice would be Stan - Valerie - Linda. Complicated in some ways and yet, Stan needed Valerie.

Did you like the way the story ended? I liked the ending, but it left a lot of unanswered questions. A sequel maybe?
