What were the main relationships explored in this book? Miriam - Sydlynn / Sydlynn - Sassafras / Miriam - Sydlynn - Batsheva. Sydlynn had a very complicated life and the powers were not at all helpful especially when her parents are two different types of "not-so-normal" so it was interesting to see her interactions with others as she went in pursuit of "ordinary".
3 things I liked about the book … This book was a fast read, filled with interesting characters. Of course, I like fantasy books so that made this book even better.
Favourite character(s) … Sassafras and Syd. The author offers the reader a brief introduction on the characters so it is really easy to pick which you can connect with.
